A Wyrm's Nest is a place of mystical power, most commonly tracked down and used by the Ordo Dracul.

The Ordo has been mapping Wyrm's Nests and their accompanying ley lines since the 19th century (as far as the reliable notes show). Most Wyrm's Nests are hard to detect, and require special training and disciplines (Auspex) to find. All nests have a "flavor" of resonance that colors them.

There are four types of Wyrm's Nests:

Crucible Nests are rare nests that facilitate the learning of Coils. This benefit, unfortunately, can only really be experienced by those that know the Crucible Ritual. They are the least plentiful, and most valuable, of all nests.

Perilous Nests can be either Crucibles, Fontals, or Haunted Nests, but they have some element of danger - a vengeful ghost, a pack of werewolves, a mold that consumes flesh, etc. - that makes them dangerous to use.

Fontal Nests are aspected towards spiritual or magical energy, and besides serving as a place to cast Fontal Rituals these wellheads can also be tapped for mystical power.

Haunted Nests are those that contain at least one human ghost. Their energy is subtle, but they are easy to find.
