The Area

A primarily residential area for the affluent south-side persons, Westview is nestled against the Papal Forest on the west side and Stroker Hive on the east, while Route 17 forms the northern border to split it apart from the rest of the city. Westview primarily serves as an upper-class neighborhood, with it's own schools, and supports a good amount of Stroker Hive's daily revenues.

The streets are all lined with half a million dollar homes packed into tight subdivisions or three to four stories tall apartment and condominium complexes. There are taller buildings closer to Stroker Hive, with condominium skyscrapers fitting the bill as most of them. Only a small fraction of Westview is zoned for commercial, and the residents of the area are, as a vast majority, very happy with this. They don't want their relatively quiet and religious neighborhood bothered with by the troubles of the rest of the city.

Westview schools tend to rank near the top of all of the poll tests for the Carcosa school system, and so companies and universities have taken a special interest in luring the young adults from those particular schools. It is not uncommon for individuals unable (generally for monetary reasons) to get into the private institutions on Hawthorn Point to enroll at Westview for a lesser, but mostly comparable, transcript for their future.
