Description

A small, quiet, dimly-lit pharmacy run by two Taiwanese men (neither of which are named Wanda) on a side street in Hapeville, Wanda Q Pharmacy is a locally known place to get your prescriptions filled, as well as some of the stranger “Chinese medicines” that the owners can concoct if someone asks them.

These Chinese medicines aren’t actually as suspect as people might think. They are collections of herbs, roots, spices, animal parts, and other ingredients cooked up in accordance to ancient traditions and sold to customers. They are legitimate in every way.

In fact, everything the store makes is legitimate, including the stuff made in the series of beakers, tubes, and Bunsen burners hidden in a back room that the untrained eye might mistake for a meth lab. In truth, of course, it is a meth lab, producing only the finest white crystals for resale on the street. The pushers, pimps, dealers, hookers, and even some cops know that the highest-grade meth at the most reasonable prices comes from the back of Wanda Q.

The owners know more then they let on, as well. After years of selling drugs to so many people, they learn all the little secrets of their customers, from the little old ladies buying Chinese medicine to the cop on the graveyard shift who needs a little pick-me-up for the next few hours. They have enough blackmail material to put several high-profile people behind bars, and know the addresses for enough criminals to put a rather significant dent in the crime of Southern Atlanta if the authorities got their list. All in all, the respectable establishment serves every aspect of its community, and likely will for years to come.
