WBC Carcosa
Description
WBC Carcosa (Wainwright Broadcasting Company), a branch of one of the many news conglomerates and located in Union Square, functions as the primary news station for the Carcosa-general area, and runs news shows at varying times of the day and night. The operation in the city has been active since the early 1970's, and started initially as a grassroots news television station. Since it's purchase by corporate interests, many other news stations have cropped up, but WBC Carcosa continues to power ahead in it's ratings and exclusives.
Outside of the news broadcasts, the WBC Carcosa also has rights to show the Carcosa Tigers' games, except when sports networks such as ESPN have the billing for their games. Detractors have called the live broadcasts and "special reports" by the news anchors to be laden with sensationalism, but in general, spokespersons for the station do not comment on that.
