Description
A sizable ex-plantation, set on 5 acres of land on the outskirts of East Point with the nearby lots vacated, but without for-sale signs. The house looks to be in good enough shape, but the greenery could use tending to (it almost always looks a little scraggly, but never ever overgrown). The drive leads up and goes around to the back of the plantation where there’s a sizable covered parking area with design to match the house – fitting about 4 cars.
On the sides of the house are storm shelters with curiously strong looking locks.
The house itself is a two-floor, but has been expanded in the rear to encompass a good many of add-ons, none of which look to be all that recent, but neither are they perfectly matched to the original “shell” of the house itself.
Internal Descriptions
First Floor (Main)
Entering the large house from the front door brings one into a wooden-floored expansively open space. Two lines of two pillars Grecian pillars rest on each side of the door, lending towards a sort of entryway, though the main room is a large thing indeed. While there is noticeable decor, it is all items of various ancient origin - a sumerian-styled pot, or an egyptian golden necklace'd bust - but it's not overdone, they're just there. The main feature of the room is the large glass table surrounded by chairs, perfect for large meetings.
There is a white marble plaque on the wall that stands out from everything else and prominently bears the symbol of the Ordo Dracul. Engraved on the same in gold lettering, in a simple list format, is the following:
- I. A Dragon has no loyalty above his studies.
- II. A Dragon must understand, accept and embrace purposeful change.
- III. A Dragon is responsible for all she is and all she does.
Flanking that plaque are two smaller plaques done in a similiar style.
- The plaque on the left reads: Nothing is permanent.
- The plaque on the right reads: Change must have a purpose.
Above the central plaque is another smaller plaque that proclaims, in list format:
- Craving.
- Stagnation.
- Unreason.
Below the central plaque, a smaller plaque proclaims:
- All change can be measured if one has the proper tools and knowledge.
There is a door from underneath the covered car patio that leads into the main room, and there is also a small back room that is a back porch with back yard access. Finally, there are steps leading upstairs and downstairs alike.
Basement Floor
The door leading to the basement floor of the house is subjected to a Fingerprint lock.
For those of sharp eye, there is also a small metal hatch, which leads out of the house and down to a sewer connection.
Upstairs Floor
The upstairs is a series of rooms, all of which have been modified on the inside of the windows to be completely covered so that no light may pass through unless the metal coverings are altered. Each room is bare, with signs of furniture once being there.
There is one special room that has been completely turned into a different room than the others and seems to be specifically designed on it's interior to be soothing. The floor itself is comfortable and slightly padded
OOC Notes
- The House has +3 Intelligence for all characters (Geomantic Nexus Potency).
