Description

A shining beacon amongst for the gentrification of the northern parts of Atlanta is what the W Hotel ultimately is. A posh, hip, modern and with exceptional attention to detail, the W Hotel is where the celebrities, Buckhead money-makers and rich, married husbands go to cheat on their wives in style.

While the rest of the city lives in poverty, you don’t see it anywhere in the vicinity of the W Hotel’s out door and indoor pools, saunas, jacuzzis, restaurants or botanical gardens.

Walking in without looking like you belong there will gain you a visit from one of the “courtesy clerks” – which is just what the W Hotel calls their, literally, hotel bouncers. They might be horribly polite, but they’ll still quickly remove anyone from the premises that they do not believe needs to be there.

Benefits

Minor

Being a regular or knowing one of the management can get you some perks. You have no trouble getting a room for a night with no notice, and you don’t have to pay for it on top of that. The late check out clause (meaning you pay an extra day) is exempt for you, so long as you’re out before nine p.m. on the next night.

Gain access to a free hotel room (fit for two) for one evening twice a month.

Sizable

You’ve made your way to knowing who to chatter with and you’re either in good with them or you’ve managed to scare your way into keeping them from fucking bothering you. Either way, you’ve got no problems with finding yourself a haven and going under a false name without an identification check for an entire week.

Uncontested

Yeah, no one’s going to bother you. You might as well be a staple, or you might as well be a kingpin. People check up on you – unless you tell them not to – you can get anything on the hotel menu for free (assuming it costs less than $1,000 total), and you can get rooms for your friends for a week, too. You? Oh, you can get a suite. Yeah, that’s right, a presidential suite.
