DISCLAIMER: Since New York is such a gigantic and populous city, I was hoping to get a few people to collaborate on building up it's history. There's a little bit Germ's and Tara's backgrounds, but, mostly it's wide open. Anyone with knowledge of the city is officially invited to chat me up so we can start to build an appropriate setting for this place. Though, stuff like this paragraph in the future should probably go on the discussion page for this article, which is where i'll move this in like a day or two! werdup.

okay! i don't know if anyone is paying attention here, but i wrote a bunch of stuff. feel free to comment or whatever, suggest stuff for the last fifty years, though some of that is nicely set up in the background, particularly the nineties with some wars on the LES and Tompkins square and stuff. holla at cha boy.
