Description

In a quiet part of a nicer section of Midtown lies St. Daniel's Hall, a relatively unassuming house with a decently sized yard, surrounded by an immaculately trimmed 8-foot hedge fence that completely obscures the house and yard from the view of the street. There is always plenty of parking on the street, and at night there is almost not a soul to be seen in the neighborhood.

The yard is rather spaced out in front of the house, with a couple stone benches for those inclines to sit out there. The stone path walkway up to the house is lit with low lanterns.

The front door is manned by a ghoul inside who takes care of coats, umbrellas, or anything else that is desired to be left with him at a coat check. He generally stays out of sight and in as unobtrusive as possible.

The house has been remodeled from its original form to get rid of several useless feature for Kindred (such as the Bathroom and Kitchen) and incorporate many aspects of modern technology. The Master bedroom has a half-dozen nice computers set up for use with the internet and networking. The spacious living room has been outfitted with an impressive surround-sound system linked to the front, where a dais has been set up. Aside from the microphone and podium, there is every manner of video, DVD, and CD, player hooked up, with a screen that descends from the ceiling and a ceiling projector to give a rather impressively large image. There is also a Nintendo Wii and Xbox 360 hooked up to the system, giving a wall-sized surround-sound gaming experience. All of the electronics fold away neatly into wooden cabinets so as not to diminish from the feel of a cozy, traditional Elysium. The two other bedrooms have been converted into offices for anyone who needs to step inside them.

On the inside of the entrance to the sitting area is a small message board with a very simple and straightforward paper that reads "Announcements" with many spare thumb-tacks along the bottom of the board.
