By this Oath of Fealty, the vassal, Madam Silvia Bancroft, Groom; childe of the Mister Baron Kien Zhao, Prince of Carcosa; childe of Alexander Castillo of the Ordo Dracul here in Carcosa; childe of Hector Maessen of the Ordo Dracul from Richmond; childe of Abraham Wilford of the Ordo Dracul from Richmond; childe of Madam Celeste, Librettist and Senator in Richmond; childe of Alder Marcus Greenwich, Senator and Speaker in Richmond, in the presence of the witnesses of the Invictus gathered here this night, swears to the following duties:

For one year's time, beginning this date, I shall support, defend, and protect my Lord in any way I can that would not erode my humanity. I will be as a bastion, an obstacle that all others must go through in order to harm my Lord. Should my Lord be injured and in need of succor, I will be the healing hand that nurses their wounds, and mine shall be the hand that inflicts far more grievous wounds upon their enemies. I am my Lord's sword and shield.

For one year's time, beginning this date, I shall serve, obey, and pay proper homage to my Lord. When my Lord gives me a task, I shall see it done in due time, sparing no expense to ensure that the will of my Lord is carried out. What my Lord tells me to speak, I shall speak; where my Lord tells me to go, I shall go. Even without instructions from my Lord, I shall seek out opportunities to act in such a way as to advance my Lord and humble my Lord's enemies. I shall defer to my Lord in all things, and perform for my Lord any service my function or my training allows. I am my Lord's right and left hands.

For one year's time, beginning this date, I shall represent, embody, and strive to be a model Vassal to my Lord. I shall conduct myself in a manner that brings no shame to my Lord, and shall instead act to earn only praise and acclaim, for my Lord's name is tied to mine for good or ill. I shall adopt the values of my Lord, and shall see to it that they are made a part of my unlife, such that my Lord's virtues are my own, and those same virtues shall be upheld and spread. I will be obedient and humble, and will seek to bring further glory and respect to my Lord's name. I am my Lord's voice; my Lord's heart shall be as my own.

By this Oath of Fealty, the Lord, House Aedelred, consisting of The Right Honorable Mister Quentin, Patron of House Aedelred, Marquis of Carcosa and Councilor, childe of Mister Algernon Winthrop, Senator, childe of Madam Jezebelle Rains, Interpreter and Speaker, childe of Jonathan Valen of the Circle of the Crone, childe of Sidharma of the Circle of the Crone, childe of The Right Honorable Alder Basil Ingleton, Marquis of London and Councilor and The Good Madam Josephine, Protege of House Aedelred, Viscountess of Starkhorn Heights, Councilor, childe of the deceased Mister Colby Ryall, Soldier, childe of the eclipsed Mister Sebastian Fawkner, Soldier, childe of presumed eclipsed Alder Behenna Rashleigh, Speaker, childe of The Right Honorable Alder Warren Keast, Marquis of Cornwall and Councilor, childe of The Honorable Alder Conner Arundell, Earl of Devon and Advisor, in the presence of the witnesses of the Invictus gathered here this night, swears to the following obligations:

For one year's time, beginning this date, we shall allow our Vassal to gain influence in Starkhorn Heights and the Amptons, and shall facilitate it as necessary. Our Vassal's strength is our strength - our Vassal is our eyes, observing those that would use our lands as their own, and our Vassal is our fist, striking at those who would dare entrench themselves in our land. After a year has passed, our Vassal is allowed to keep and maintain the influence they have acquired, so long as they do not challenge our claim to it. To do so forfeits any agreement, and we will strike quickly and decisively to remove our Vassal's influence from our lands if our Vassal embraces an ill-advised path of ambition. We are the invisible hand, helping our Vassal to build strength, for a strong Vassal makes for a stronger Lord.

For one year's time, beginning this date, we shall strengthen and support our Vassal in their attempts to improve upon and enhance a business investment known to the mortal world as Unique Chic. Should any strike against our Vassal's business investment, we shall treat it as an attack against ourselves, and we shall spare no expense to see any that bring harm to our Vassal's business investment are, in turn, harmed twice as grievously. If our Vassal should expand their business, to make it more profitable, we shall provide an appropriate sum of money to cover no less than 30% of the cost of this expansion no more than once every three months. Our Vassal shall compensate us for any assets provided with a small favor in return, rendered in addition to their feudal service. We are the builder, helping our Vassal to make that which is their own secure and bountiful, for a Vassal's security and bounty are their reward for service to a Lord.
