Theban Sorcery, Level Three Ritual

Reference: Player-Made

Description

As the legend goes, when she was crucified by the Camarilla and the sun seared her flesh at daybreak, St. Adira did not cry out in pain or lose herself to the Beast, calmly accepting her fate. With this ritual, the sorcerer can harness the calm of St. Adira to bolster his own ability to withstand the Beast's ravages. With the completion of the Ritual, the sorcerer gains supernatural calm for a time to resist specific types of frenzy.

System

The sorcerer casts the ritual, specifying one type of frenzy chosen from anger, hunger, or fear. The sorcerer's dots in Theban Sorcery are added to the dice pool to resist that type of frenzy for a number of rolls equal to the successes gained on the activation roll. This effect applies to all subsequent rolls of that type - the sorcerer cannot choose which rolls the bonus is added to.

The sorcerer can only cast this ritual on himself, and may only have one instance of this ritual active at any time. If unused, the effects of this ritual fade with the rising of the sun.

Sacrifice

A leash or collar, no matter how cheap or expensive.
