Rules of the Road

This is just a page for us to write little humorous tidbits about Suspire and roleplaying games in general. We're dubbing them the Rules of the Road: Guide to Being a Roleplayer. Feel free to add to this whenever you want, but try to keep it clean fun.
- If someone says "I'll fucking kill you!" in game, you can expect a flurry of assault rifles, handguns and combat XP spends to pour in, instantly.
- If Majesty is used in any way, you can expect someone sitting at their computer to have said "fucking bastard" or something of the sort - if not outloud, then they were definately thinking it.
- Mentors of the world should rejoice to know that they are all super-intelligent, highly noticeable, attractive teachers straight out of a porno shoot.
- Using Dominate on people's characters will no doubt get them thinking about ways to kill your character faster than you can say the word "Freeze".
- Unlike most cities, Atlanta is known for the aura of calm that makes even the most jaded of beast-driven killers ignore streams of insults that would make hardcore rappers blush. -- PS, we call this Coil of Jackass
- If you manage to defeat two characters with your one character in combat, it is assumed you made a pact with Satan in real life.
- If you spend more than 3 minutes pesting the ST about whether your combat manuver is possible or not... it isn't.
- The first rule of LARP - attack their girlfriend to strike at them! Especially if she has a social character!
- Second rule of LARP - never follow a pretty girl into a room alone unless you've metagamed to make sure Obfuscated people are not inside.
- Third rule of LARP - You are 100% likely to be jumped in Elysium. You might as well just come Obfuscated.
- Speaking of LARP - If you are female, expect to have at least two or three men following you around like fugly, drooling, socially-stunted lapdogs. They will go to ridiculous lengths to make sure that they can be around you in character all the time, and will fall in love with you in character and promptly try to use this to get your phone number and affection. You have been warned.
