Known Information

Roberta James was born in 1904 to a wealthy Chicago family and received many of the benefits of privilege common to the era in which she lived. In her teens she had some sort of falling out with her family and was disowned by them. Chicago was at the time overrun by criminal organizations and Roberta became entrenched in the underworld crime scene that grew from the lawlessness of the Prohibition Era, which is where most of her money and contacts come from. She was Embraced into the Invictus by a Daeva by the name of Samuel Worthington some time in her early 20's and carved out a comfortable niche for herself in Chicago's Kindred elite, having never left the city until recently when she left for Atlanta. She seems to be a devoted Invictus member, having been thrown headlong into a Covenant war only days after arriving in Atlanta. She could have returned to Chicago or lain low until it all blew over, but she chose instead to take part in the quick but ugly confrontation which wrested control of the city from Carthian hands.

Roberta has secured for herself an upscale, four bedroom condo in Buckhead.

Appearance

Roberta's overall look is somewhat reminiscent of a silent film actress, though she dresses in a modern fashion. Her hair is cut in the short bob of the flapper style and her wide hazel eyes are set into a delicate, pale face. She has the sort of classic, refined beauty of a different age. Her wardrobe is always stylish, whether formal or casual and always tailored to fit her slim figure. She wears a man's antique silver ring, engraved with the symbol of the Invictus, usually on her left index finger. She is sometimes wearing other jewelry, depending on the occasion.
