Beginning of the Game Information

While he always refers to himself as a “self-made man,” nobody is sure of just how true that is. After all, almost all the Kindred in Atlanta have little memory of Robert Blake being anything more than one of the incredibly-rich politicos of the Invictus. The shrewd Blake, invested with the charm of his Daeva blood, was a notable figure in Atlanta after his embrace, and his financial success cemented this – though the more established Kindred of the city couldn’t help but feel that he was an uppity neonate that could benefit from the harsh lesson that accompanies being shoved back into one’s place.

Blake was content to be rich, politically connected, and powerful… until the Carthians took the city over. This single event changed Blake’s requiem considerably, and he became an outspoken advocate of Invictus superiority – though he was smart enough to keep his sentiment from becoming public. Certainly, rumors reached the right people, and suspicion fell on him, but there was never any real proof, and for whatever reason the Prince never responded to Blake’s hostility. In fact, the Prince granted him domain, which just boggled the Kindred all the more.

Blake is something of an “unofficial harpy,” and took several potshots at Seneschal Parks that were so terribly scathing that they remain seared into the memories of all present (and most consider them a constant source of amusement). Blake seems to have a good deal of support within the Invictus, but his extremist views make other covenants nervous. Whether he’s been pacified by the Carthians and their grant of domain remains a subject of Elysium conversation. Blake, for his part, keeps mum about the issue… in public. It is terribly unlikely that someone as politically experienced and ruthless as Robert Blake is stupid enough to do anything overt until, and unless, he’s ready to carry through with whatever he’s planning, if he's planning anything at all.
