The Area
Taking a page from the book of Copal, Riverside Row is what people call the long rows of dilapidated buildings and structures nudged in between the ethnic neighborhoods of the West and the more populated East. The distinction is made about this set of buildings because these tend to all be dangerous for even experienced urban explorers. That being said, none of the official groups of the urban decay investigators take their trips into this row.
The buildings all seem structurally weaker than others, which is bizarre (and subject of many wild speculations from people who are considered "out there") because of how near-straight the rows of buildings and streets are that are afflicted by this rot. Buildings regularly partially collapse in the area, with or without outside interference, and streets that are lined with poles or other large-standing structures such as silos or abandoned water towers are particularly treacherous. Often, people have to deal with fallen limbs, support beams or even full half-sides of buildings when going by.
Like Copal, there's just not a population enough to support revitalization in the area, and so Riverside Row has been allowed to rot for years and years. Notably, the age of death in the row for those who've lived there their entire lives is miraculously lower, and almost always from organ failure... as if their bodies just... collapsed.
