I, Richard Winston, swear that I will not intentionally, without the express permission of Aria Sanura or unless acting in obvious self-defense, bring the powers of emotional influence that are the signature of the Daeva clan to bear on her in any capacity. These powers include the ability to inspire awe, to force the revelation of truths, to twist the emotions into a forced love state, or to compel her to come to me by no will of her own.
