Known Information: Reginald is essentially the leader of the Invictus in Albuquerque, as small as that contingent is. It’s Reginald who brokered the deal with the Carthian Movement that allowed them the funding necessary to build their idealized city. It seems a well known fact that Reginald did this betting the Carthians would fail and it’d prove the “Great Experiment” wrong for good; the Carthians accepted the bet. The Invictus is aware that Reginald is one of the three Marquis that essentially attempt to steer the Invictus covenant, even across domains. They also know he’s sworn an Oath of Fealty to Joachim Diaz, the Overlord which most other Invictus find awkward since Reginald openly attends the ritual worship of the Crone.
Rumors: Reginald attends Crone rituals because when he was a neonate, he pissed off a Ventrue Crone and that Ventrue used dominate to convince him that the spirits talked to him in visions. Reginald only pretended to bet against the Carthians, in truth he’s been dissatisfied with the Invictus for a while. Reginald intends to sabotage the city at precisely the worst time and bring the Masquerade crashing down so he can step in and save it. Reginald believes that this is the first step to brainwashing mortals completely and restoring open Kindred rule.
Description: Reginald is a man in his prime. In his mid-thirties he has a vigorous attitude that’s conveyed by the energy with which he speaks. Even silent, Reginald seems bigger-than-life. Not only is he naturally a large, muscular man, but his hair is cut a little too long for fashion and his clothing is worn with a flair for the dramatic giving fanciful (often female) Kindred the impression of a romance novel pirate. His unusual joie-de-vivre seems at odds with his Mekhet lineage but observant Kindred don’t fail to miss the occasional calculating look that overcomes his features when he thinks no one is paying attention.
