Name: Phoebe Sans
Clan: Daeva
Covenant: Carthians
Embraced: 1992
Mentor: Phoebe's mentor is a curious Mekhet named Davis Wellington. He spends most of his time studying the Changelings and often goes on rants that last for nights at a time.
Appearance: Phoebe is the absolute picture of grace and beauty. She only stands 5 feet 2 inches, but her presence seems to encompass the whole room, eyes easily drawn to her with just the slightest movement. Fiery, untamed locks fall around her face, framing her pale features, tainted only by a young girl's freckles and illuminated by the flickering glimmer of her eyes. Her style is, as always, impeccable. A picture of the latest fashions, but whether she is wearing jeans and a t-shirt or the most elegant gown, it just seems to fit the moment, pulling off the look effortlessly.
Soundtrack: Built For Sin-Framing Hanley

The Beginning

Phoebe was born in 1967, her mother was a stay at home mom with two other children, both boys, one 7 and the other 4. Her father was a lobbyist in DC, spending most weeks there and only coming home on the weekends. When Phoebe was old enough she was sent to a private school and then off to college, but she never quite finished there, instead it just seemed as though being a 'student' was her career. Being born to a wealthy family that indulged her every whim, so it was no real surprise when the redheaded beauty grew up she quickly became 'famous' for her social calendar. It was always the big deal to find out where she would be on Saturday because that place would be the 'coolest' hot spot for the evening.

She easily gained the attention of her Sire, who also followed her social calender, for much different reasons, he often had a taste for those that he saw as socialites. His whims, changing much like the wind, however for the moment this girl had gotten his attention. She was beautiful and envied, the women both loving and hating her and the men lusting after her. Though, Phoebe always had a different man on her arm at the start of the night she did not often leave with anyone. So it became a game to Edward, the girl his prize, after all what better prize then the girl everyone wanted. But he had to be sure the girl was exactly what he wanted, slipping himself into her inner circle, and then into her bed, where they spent many long nights. Which did not go well with the other men around her when she stopped paying them attention and focused only on Edward, which delighted the man to no end, he had won his prize finally making his decision to bring her into the folds of the Daeva. Though it was more he wanted to immortalize her beauty then true have a companion, as he had done so many times before.

Rebirth

Edward wasted no timing in showing off the newest arm candy now that he had opened her eyes to the kindred world. It was new and exciting to her but it also seemed alien and took some getting used to. Edward seemed more interested in showing her off then actually teaching her of the new world he brought her into. Edward saw to it that she knew the basic laws to keep her alive, and focused on teaching her, the true art form of the Daeva's Majesty, which she quickly picked up on and excelled at the use of. Often bringing her out to the clubs to have her indulge her power over the art form, but over-indulgence came at a price and two years later Edward now had his eyes on another socialite that Phoebe realized was just like her two years ago, and it now seemed he was following her movements through the clubs instead of further instructing Phoebe, thus was the price when you were Edwards childe.

So for the next year she continued the same way she had when Edward left her,in the vain attempt to regain his attention, continuing to build up her art of Majesty and paying very little attention to the others her blood blessed her with, but it seemed chance or fate had other ideas for her, as she left one of her usual spots she felt the presence of another looming. Turning quickly to get away from whoever was there she found herself face to face with Davis. Davis always acted as though they had known each other for quite some time, but Phoebe was cautious with him, still unsure of this whole life that Edward had brought her into. But slowly, he managed to work his way into her life.

A New Focus

He forced her to focus more on what she was rather then the arts she possessed. Starting her instruction over on the world that Edward had so arrogantly brought her into without thought of future consequences. He did not seem to have much care for time, spending months explaining to her how their society worked and how she fit into it. Revealing to her next the different clans and bloodlines, finally explaining what he was, a Mekhet. Pushing her to realize she had to also begin learning the other art forms of her blood. Opening her eyes to a world outside of Edward, she finally began to move quicker then a normal eye could see, but Davis would push her for perfection, it wasn't just enough to know how to use what he blood gave her but how to do it correctly and for what purpose.

After five years of instruction on the world of Kindred, Davis finally began to open up about other creatures that stalked the earth with them, though he focused on a creature he called Changelings. It seemed to Phoebe that Davis was obsessed with these wholly fascinating, but often wicked creatures, but after all the time he had given her and raised her in a way Edward never did, she would listen to everything he said on it, even if he would go on a rant for months at a time on a single part of them, she did her best to be attentive to what he said but sometimes it was difficult to keep up with each thought on these creatures, so she takes the learning slow, part of her still not sure if these are creatures of his imagination or if they truly do exist in their world.

The Socalite

But, despite Davis instruction, Phoebe was still a Daeva and she often indulged her whims for parties and socializing, sometimes dragging Davis with her, though he would just sit at a darkened table and read rather then dance with her. But Phoebe never lost touch with the world she started at, in fact it seemed to only build for her. Now she was not just the hot mortal that everyone wanted to be around but she always heard things, lots of things. It seemed she took what Davis had taught her saw everything in a whole new way. She could read the signs around the city as if they were left just for her. She knew where every meeting would be. Where to avoid and when to show up -just- at the right time. So once again it seemed the girl was surrounded by those wanting to know when and where to be. Though she hasn't quite mastered it as much as she would like, she is still diligent in her efforts to perfect her ability to read any sign of what is going on in the kindred world around her.

Even before embrace, the club owners would often pay her to been seen at their club, to bring hype to their place, like only her being seen their could. With her embrace, though, and new found affinity for her most focused art form of Majesty, the calls never seem to stop for club owners wanting the charismatic spot light in their club, and they seem to be willing to pay quite nicely to ensure their place is the next biggest thing. For Phoebe it seems only fair that if they want their place to be graced by her presence they can pay, and pay well they do. After all, what price can be put on success?
