Description

Oceanfront Vet Clinic is located on the on the outskirts of Oceanfront, close to Pappelbon Row. The main building is a pretty unremarkable in its cinder block construction. The parking area is nothing more than gravel with a road leading around back to the holding pens for the larger animals. The grounds look like they have seen better days.

Inside the building there are the basics of what one might find at a veterinary clinic. There are a few offices, three examination rooms, other rooms filled with cages of animals, and a supply room where medical supplies, including medications, are kept. The decor is sparse and just the essentials of what is needed to run the office area is included. The general atmosphere of the place seems to be one of desperation, not only from the animals but from the office workers trying to keep donations and money coming in to keep the place in the black. There isn't much in the way of security, but any unwitting Kindred stepping into the place looking for a quick bite will set the animals into a flurry of barks, yowls, and other noises from the frantic animals. Out behind the building is a vast maze of animal cages for the larger animals that cannot be housed in the building. Most seem listless and pace back and forth in their cages.

The main veterinarian, Debbie, can be usually found running around the building. She is short of stature with brown hair that she keeps pulled back into a ponytail. It looks like makeup has never touched her face although she does have a bit of natural beauty. She seems to be the only one in the place that wears a smile, but anyone studying her face can see the deep lines caused by the constant struggle to keep the place operational. She gladly welcomes anyone volunteering their time to help where they can and will quickly put them to work.
