Physical Description
- Milo appears as savage and hardened as the wilderness through which he regularly travels. A known Nomad, the road has taken its toll, leaving him weathered and rough. His eyes watch, steady and suspicious, penetrating those who fall under his gaze with the vigilance and fortitude of a stalking predator, though underneath his calm outward demeanor lies a roiling beast - revealing itself by way of the occasional pointed grin - ready to rip the limbs off of any who cross that all too faded line.
- Milo normally wears a pair of old, weather-beaten blue-denim jeans, rugged black leather boots, a black t-shirt, and a grey hooded sweatshirt from which the sleeves have been torn off, thus revealing very muscular arms covered in a plethora of draconic tattoos (there appears to be something bulky concealed underneath the sweatshirt). However, when attending Elysium, or in a neighborhood a bit more upscale he swaps out the old jeans for a pair of clean yet non-descript khaki pants, and exchanges the sweatshirt for a long-sleeve, black, button up shirt (leaving the top unbuttoned). He has short brown hair and blue eyes. He carries with him an old canvas backpack, and little to nothing else.
Character History
(Always a work in progress)
- 1920's
Milo Allen Drown was born on November 9th, 1923. He was raised on a farm, with seven brothers and one sister.
Milo's father was very anti-military, and was not looked at fondly by the other residents of his town for it, especially towards Milo's teenage years when WWII reared its ugly head.
Had a deep connection with animals from a very early age, but had a very clear mental distinction regarding the classification of different types of animals. Generally, he sorted them into either companion animals (dogs, cats, etc), dangerous animals (bears, cougars, etc), or prey animals (cows, chickens, pigs, deer, rabbits, etc). He had a great deal of trouble with the concept of "working" animals, and generally saw them as prey. This unnerved his parents and siblings, who did not understand the full extent of his mindset.
- 1930's
Learned to greatly enjoy hunting, and would frequently vanish into the woods for weeks on end, abandoning his schoolwork and chores at home. He became more comfortable living in the wild than he was living a normal human life, and he began to truly feel as though he had the soul of a wild predator, rather than the person whose body he was born into. In decades to come, this would eventually become popularly known as Therianthropy, though at the time he had no term for it. He merely knew that he was different from many other people.
- 1940's
Milo eventually drew the attention of a nomadic Gangrel. He was watched and stalked for several months, before the Gangrel decided to embrace him. Milo's therianthropic nature stirred distant feelings of wonder in the dead predator's cold, lifeless heart, and he sought Milo as a companion in his Requiem.
After a period of adjustment to his new Requiem, Milo and his sire roamed the countryside as nomads for several decades, before eventually parting ways. Though they greatly respected each other, there were simply too many times where the clash of beasts was a little too close to call, and more instances of near final death over stupid arguments than they were prepared to deal with. Thus, the two went their separate ways.
