Known Information: Marcus serves dual roles as Magistrate and Diplomat. He’s older than most Carthians, but despite his age he’s considered wise which is a rare opinion for the youth-valuing Movement. He has a particular talent to find the easiest middle ground in a debate and refuse to alter course until both parties are steered to it. In the Court of the Overlord, he represents Albuquerque and often quietly pushes their success to the forefront of the Overlord’s mind. Between his duties of Magistrate and Diplomat he rarely has the opportunity to actually stay in the Ideal City.
Rumors: Some Carthians feel that Marcus is out of touch due to his age. Others feel that he’s out of touch due to the fact that he’s never actually in Albuquerque. There are rumors that years ago he tried to join the Invictus but refused to betray the Movement, so he wasn’t allowed in. Some say he’s not Mekhet, but he’s in fact Gangrel and that’s why he’s given to travelling. One rumor says that Marcus took the position of Magistrate to get out of Albuquerque because his long-time lover left him for Andrew, of course no one knows who that lover was.
Description: Marcus doesn't fuck around. His appearance is really rather serious but when he smiles, it's genuine to the bone. He seems to prefer earth tones in his attire, which runs casual. Marcus has a tendency to rub the back of his neck when situations get hot, but he straightens his posture and does his job when all is said and done.
