Description

The little white house is pristinely painted, which makes the roadside sign for Madam Minnow, Psychic Reader incongruous in its disrepair. But Madam Minnow doesn’t have much use for a sign. The people who need her know where to find her. Her parlor is hung with heavy drapes and portraits of great spiritualists such as Helena Blavatsky and Aleister Crowley. Madam Minnow, a handsome woman just shy of 40, greets customers in a crimson kimono and green scarf. Madam Minnow’s psychic readings were originally a front for her prostitution, but now both are active vocations. Whether you’re looking for a palm reading or a hand job, expect satisfaction and be ready to pay.

The Madam has two “girls,” one of whom assists her in services, and the other who fetches her groceries and prescriptions. She never leaves the house herself. Clients are taken by appointment only, so the Madam or one of her assistants is on the phone almost always if one is to show up unannounced.

Kindred who find their way into Madam Minnow’s good graces or onto her client roster may find her a useful anchor for their Humanity... as long as they don’t think too much about what’s going on behind her eyes.
