Quadragsma is a 40 day fast recognizing the 40 years Longinus walked without his purpose. We observe it to remember how important having a purpose is to us. Typically only the last week is actually observed.

Celebration of Saint Longinus
The Feast of Longinus is the day after the end of Quadragesma, we celebrate this night by hunting, using our vitae then hunting again. It's a night of great revelry and celebration in the Lancea Sanctum. Longinus is the Patron Saint of Abecedarians.
March
21st
Celebration of Saint Monachus
Saint Monachus was Longinus' first childe. The man who taught him how to speak to others, who founded the first real monastery of the Lancea Sanctum, wrote the Rule of Golgotha and transcribed most of Longinus' words. It's because of him that we have the Testament of Longinus.
April
7th
Celebration of Saint Pazit
Saint Pazit was one of the five Black Saints, or Black Martyrs, she sacrificed herself for Monachus and the other disciples so that the Spear of Destiny could be safely rescued. She burned to death. Saint Pazit is the Patron Saint of Legates.
May
3rd
Celebration of Saint Adira
Saint Adira was another of the five Black Saints, she was crucified to face the dawn which allowed Monachus and the other disciples to escape the wrath of a pagan Prince. Saint Adira is the Patron Saint of Evangelists.

Celebration of Saint Gilad
Saint Gilad was crucified beside Saint Adira, which is why their celebrations are so close together. You may be interested to know that Saints Adira and Gilad were lovers in life although there was nothing romantic about their Damnation. Saint Gilad is the Patron Saint of Diplomats.
June

Celebration of Saint Delilah
Saint Delilah was a priest in Carcosa, the only Damned to stand up to the despot Harman Scofield. Harman was a Prince before which others cowered, enslaver and corruptor of memories, a man who had killed a pack of werewolves by himself. Delilah did not waver in the face of his campaign of hate against the Lancea Sanctum, and her courage cost her her Requiem.

Celebration of Saint Maron
Saint Maron was the last of the five Black Saints, while he and Monachus traveled with several other converts to the Longinus religion they were set upon by wolves and werewolf witches. Maron attempted to fight them off to allow the others to flee; he eventually fell to their magic. Saint Maron is the Patron Saint of Crusaders.

This night is set to remember the evening that Monachus and his followers were slaughtered in their abbey by one of his closest Apostles and a group of traitors. They were attempting to steal the Spear of Destiny and although those defending it died, it was not lost.
September
22nd
Celebration of the Miracle of Saint Daniel
Saint Daniel learned the miracles of the Lancea Sanctum, known as Theban, and used it to defend an entire army of both mortal Christian believers and the Lancea Sanctum who traveled in their midst. It's said that he blocked out the sun so that the Damned could fight among the living. He died on the battlefield. Saint Daniel is the Patron Saint of Soldiers.

Celebration of Saint Vahishtael the Archangel
Celebration of Saint Amoniel the Archangel
Vahishtael was the angel that came to Longinus and explained to him the role God expected him to play as a predator of mankind (Malediction 14:7-13). Saint Vahishtael is the Patron Saint of Bishops. Amoniel was the angel who visited Daniel and revealed to him where to find the miracles of Theban (2 Sanguinaria 5:2). Saint Amoniel is the Patron Saint of Practitioners of Theban Miracles.

The Gran Ballo is a party the Lancea Sanctum puts on once a year as a covenant. It's typically a Masque and in some cities one of the only actual "parties" that the covenant throws. The party itself is supposed to be very elaborate.

12th
Celebration of Saint Icarius
Saint Icarius was the first member of the Damned anointed by Monachus and he was eventually the Archbishop of his own city. He was slain and diablerized by a Daeva who he punished for breaking the Traditions. Saint Icarius is the Patron Saint of Ventrue.
