The following laws govern the Kindred Territories, as well as those they are free to traverse, of Carcosa:
- Kindred Territories consist of Starkhorn Heights, the Amptons, Pappelbon Row, Oceanfront, Hanover Wards, and East Ecclesia
- Kindred are allowed free access to Boomerang Way
The Three Traditions
- The Embrace is only allowed by the permission of the Prince
Problems are your problems, not our problems.
- Kindred who find trouble outside the aforementioned territories may not petition the Court for assistance and may be punished for their actions.
- Kindred who find trouble within the territories may petition at Court for resolution.
- To avoid problems related to property, all domain and retainers must be marked with a symbol of the possessor upon neck or wrist.
- Kindred who find trouble outside the aforementioned territories may not petition the Court for assistance and may be punished for their actions.
Merit and activity are rewarded by the Court.
- Any who provide necessary knowledge of territories, Lords, laws and Elysium to nomads will be awarded a small boon on behalf of said nomad by the Court.
- Lords of the territories are required to have a remarkable presence in Elysium and related social gatherings. They must attend all Courts or send a designated Proxy in their place.
- Petitions may be brought before informal or formal Court by a Priscus or Valued member of the community on behalf of any Kindred.
The following laws govern the Regency of East Ecclesia, called the Diomedes Dominion:
I. Sovereignty: The Regency does not exist within a vacuum - the laws of the Prince of Carcosa apply to the subjects of the Diomedes Dominion. Any subject matter not addressed by the Prince's laws is the province of the Regent.
II. Fealty: All who maintain a haven within the territory of the Diomedes Dominion are subjects of the Regent. All who feed within the territory of the Diomedes Dominion are subjects of the Regent. All subjects of the Regent owe feudal obligations to the Regent.
III. Peace: The wheat is bountiful when the Kindred are at peace. Any Kindred that wishes to break the peace of the Diomedes Dominion must have the explicit permission of the Regent to do so. Any Kindred that does not obtain this permission shall be subject to the Regent's justice.
