great-great-grandchilde of the Madam Celeste, a Librettist and Senator from the ranks of the Unconquered in Richmond, Virginia,
and great-great-great-grandchilde of the Alder Marcus Greenwich, who functions as both a Senator and Speaker in Richmond, Virginia,
in the presence of the Councilors, Aedelred, and the witnesses of the Unconquerable First Estate, Mister Lord Marco Belmonte of the Arundell line and Madam Silvia Bancroft of the Childer of Diomedes, on this night of the Second of November of the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand and Eight, swear to defend without fail or delay, the Dynastic House of Aedelred.
Such a House, which consists of:
The Right Honorable Mister Quentin, who is the Patron, and Marquis of Carcosa and Councilor,
- childe of Mister Algernon Winthrop, a Senator
and the Good Madam Josephine, the protege, and Viscountess of Starkhorn Heights as well as Councilor,
- childe of the deceased Mister Colby Ryall, a Soldier.
I will, from this moment onwards and until determined by House Aedelred that I shall no longer serve as willing vassal, protect and defend the House from all threats that harm their person, their assets and those of their blood-lineage. I will uphold this oath with honor and with loyalty, or forfeit my claim to the blood if I should dare to break it.
House Aedelred is deeply honored by your promise. As your new lords we swear to give you succor of haven when you have need and we promise to give you assistance in building your own monetary assets in whatever form that may take.
