Known Information:Josiah has visited every city in the Tomesha Valley several times. Most domains keep a nice hotel suite ready for him, which he appreciates. A Prince never knows when Josiah will arrive and after traveling almost non-stop for decades a Prince can win easy favor by just making sure the Legate has a comfortable welcome. Josiah enjoys the power that he has being the Synod’s Legate, he enjoys the way Princes go out of their way to make sure he has every thing he wants, and he really enjoys the bribes. Josiah’s as much tattle-tale and spy as he is Legate, but smart Princes realize that the greedy man will be more than willing to forget what he knows for the right price. Despite this weakness, Josiah takes his duties seriously. He conducts ceremonies with appropriate solemnity and passes down dictates with all their original gravitas. Sometimes he even stays to see if they’re implemented, if the hunting is good enough that is.

Rumors: It’s said that the Synod only allow Josiah as Legate because he’s really the Archbishop’s unacknowledged childe. Josiah’s actually vinculumed to each of the Bishops on the Council and tells them every thing despite bribes. Josiah took a vow of poverty when he was anointed, which is why he relies on Princes’ charity. Once a Prince didn’t have a room arranged for Josiah, so later Josiah casually mentioned to the Inquisitor of a potential Lilith heresy in the city - it took five years to get rid of the Inquisitor after that. Josiah had a fling with the Master of Elysium once on a visit to Sacramento.

Description: Josiah has a fierce expression on his face most of the time, as a man to be taken seriously. He dresses himself in simple, though nice, clothing but never anything overstated or too expensive looking. He appears young, with sandy blonde hair and gray eyes. Josiah keeps his chin held high and his back straight as a board when he enters a room. While he isn't striking in appearance, he makes up for it in the air around him.
