Mortal Life
1898 - Born as Jared Haver in London. He's the youngest of three children, all boys, in an extremely patriotic bourgeoisie high society London family. His father is a well known architect, owner of a large and successful firm.
1917 - Against his family's wishes he illegally joins the Great War. His two other brothers are by now dead, killed in the very same war. He takes part in the Nivelle Offensive, which ultimately taints his view of the French.
1918 - He returns to London a hero amongst his family. His father, though intially upset that his son disobeyed him, is overjoyed and offers his son a place at his firm on the condition that he completes University. He agrees.
1923 - Jared has by now established himself in his father's firm. Rumours of his rise to prominence are only due to the fact that he is the 'gaffers son' are quickly dismissed as his hard work ethic and hunger for success shine through. In the Autumn his father suffers a heart attack and dies. Jared takes over the firm, though, he swiftly removes any opposition - of which there is very little of - who claim he is not fit at such a young age when there are far more experienced members on the board. By 1924 he has assumed full control.
1926 - The firm has grown. Its success is in no small part down to Jared and he quickly catches the attention of Alistair Deuchamps who promptly embraces him.
The Requiem
1927 - Jared is embraced along with Aria Sanura, her Sire the Servant to his. Both are Dragons. The pair enter a gruelling tuteledge under their Sires.
1931 - Spring. A cotorie of fanatical Sanctified in London arrive. One of Deuchamps' rivals begins manipulating them, subtly pointing them in the Dragon's direction. Both Deuchamps and Aria's Sire, Simeon Rashidi, are assasinated along with another Dragon. The result is open war in London. The pair flee the country.
Autumn. They arrive in Atlanta. Jared sets about building his influence as he looks to stamp his own mark in a city ravaged by the Great Depression. Jared takes on his Sire's last name to honour his memory.
1933 - Jared completes his Chasing the Dragon's Tail, though, his chosen Mentor disappears mysteriously.
1941 - Whilst hunting in a bar Jared is set upon by a group of drunken US servicemen. There is speculation as to whether this was organised by a bitter Carthian, Peter Brook, in retaliation for Jared muscling in on his influence. Jared is discovered by Aria and his body rescued. Knowing his plans for the future Aria wisely chooses not to wake him and slips into torpor with him soon after.
1994 - Jared emerges from torpor.
1995 - In an attempt to modernize himself he enlists the help of Devon 'DJ' Jones, in return for a small boon. Meanwhile he studies under Anna Shearing, who forces him to Chase the Dragons Tail once again before agreeing to teach him his first Coil, the Coil of the Beast. He begins to slowly and carefully rebuild his influence.
1996 - Spring. He gains his first Coil and ultimately gains more respect from Shearing.
2000 - He gains permission from Marissa Carisle to be allowed to be tutored by her Childe, Araseli Luna, as he continues with his work in modernizing himself. However, Araseli does not begin lessons until 2007.
Developments
- Seneschal: Jared is currently playing the roll of Seneschal under his fourth regieme. He was originally recruited for the roll by Bridget Connelly. He lost his position whilst in London visiting his Grandsire. When Bridget Connelly and Anthony Anderson formed the House of Themesis his chances of excelling in the City seemed all but dead due to his poor relationship with Bridget's other half. However, Jared was offered the role again and it is a position he has maintained, through the rule of Themesis, the rule of Catherine Jung - his old lover - and now serves as Seneschal to Eveline Carre. the current Prince of Atlanta and his student in the Ordo Dracul.
For reasons yet unknown Jared has been reluctant to place a claim on Praxis himself, despite his many opportunities to do so.
- Legacy: Jared embraced Kara Lockhart, an architecture student based in Atlanta. Kara is Jared's first Childe and one whom he cherises and feels most at ease with.
- Scholar: After Aria Sanura escaped Atlanta and Gregory Krailo entered torpor Jared took control of the Ordo Dracul. He currently holds the title of Scholar and nears his fourth Coil.
- Domains: Jared has held four Domains to date. Decatur; which he lost during his time in London. Forest Park; lost to him because of his slow reaction in crushing the anarch presence in the region. Under Eveline Carre, however, Jared has been given control of North Atlanta and, once again, Decatur.

- Not known by other characters - Aria Sanura: The pair have known each other since their embraces and remain close friends till this very night.
- Not known by other characters - 1995: Anna Shearing begins teaching Jared the Coil of the Beast. Her techniques are particularly brutal, matching her cold attitude toward Jared. He, however, buckles down, working hard to impress his mentor. The Coil work finishes in '96. Anna gains respect for Jared but he is left bitter and resentful after the experience.
- Not known by other characters - 1995: Devon Jones teaches Jared, helping modernize. In return, Jared agrees to bankroll DJ when the young Carthian begins making moves to take over the streets of Atlanta during his dispute with Trey King.
- Not known by other characters - 2000: While working to gain permission to secure the services of Araseli Luna Jared is seduced by Marissa Carisle.
- Not known by other characters - 2007: Araseli Luna begins tutoring Jared as he attempts to gain a more in-depth knowledge of computers.
- Not known by other characters - 2007: At the last party thrown in 2007 a drunken Jared and equally plastered Mildred Winters have a one night stand. The next night finds them equally shocked and leads to the pair being awkward with one another until Jared finally confronts her over the issue. The issue is seemingly resolved.
- Known by members of the Ordo Dracul - 1941: After a spat with a Kindred named Peter Brooks, who the Dragons believed to be a Carthian, Jared Deuchamps was found in torpor by Aria Sanura a few hours before dawn on chance. It was believed that the event was spawned by influences and contacts infringed upon by Deuchamps.
