Background

Before Embrace

1896: LA

It was the summer of 1896 in Los Angeles when James Stuart III was born, his father the son of Confederate General J. E. B. Stuart. The Stuarts had moved and relocated to LA before the birth of their first son, to escape the south, and start new lives for them. James Stuart II was a geologist who had been working with Shell when they began digging around California looking for Oil.

1900: LA

James is now 4 years old, the oil Boom in California had begun, and for every field that James’ father helped find he got a percentage stake into the well. James had a private tutor begin teaching him about reading writing and arithmetic

1904: LA

James is 8 Years old and takes his tutor lessons each day, as well as his mother has him in Dance and Etiquette Classes in the evening, they are trying to raise a Southern Gentlemen in LA. James is also on a weekly base doing duel lessons with his father.

1906: LA

At 10 years of Age James is placed in an all-male academy where his private tutoring had helped set him forward ahead of his other classmates that didn’t have the guiding hand that James had while Growing up.

1910: LA

James is now in his Teens, as he is beginning to become more and more independent from his Parents, he keeps to his studies to keep his marks up, but he is beginning to shape out who he is, and who he wants to be. He studies business moves of his father, and realizes that his father doesn’t make business moves in the mindset to set others back and get ahead at any cost to others.

1912: LA

James is coming of age, and is recognized by his parents as a Man now; he is given a leg up by his parents to pursue his interests. His father also grants him a hefty 25% of his shares in all the wells he has invested in, and been paid in by the oil company’s.

1914: LA

James is done with his schooling, and decides that he has enough information to be able to succeed in life, the primary and secondary education he received growing up has braced him for real world issues, as well as given him business sense in life as well. James decided that he wanted to help the City of LA and he Joined the police force, with his Inquisitive nature, and the brain on his shoulders, he was a natural fit for Investigation work.

1918: LA

James has been with the Police for 2 years now, and is one of the rising stars, there are big hopes for him, as well as he has been playing the ladder just perfectly, he also started playing around with the single women around LA, being Young having a career, and a lot of money made him an extremely eligible bachelor in LA.

The Death of a Cop, Birth of a Prince

1919: LA

It was a hell of a year in LA, James has a woman who has pursued him relentless for a ring and Marriage. Work also started going south, there were some cases that James was told to back off of, for a large monetary sum, his backing off caused the cases to go dead. James began following the trail, it took him a week and he finally came to the end of the rainbow.. James died that night. James was being tracked down and watched by Jonas Michaels, of the Invictus. He sees a lot of potential in James, and embraced him that night.

After Embrace

1920:LA

James’ training has been going smoothly, he started learning the finer points of protecting the Masquerade, and also started learning how to control Auspex more and more, having a natural affinity for the discipline.

1922:LA

Manumission has happened and James is released into the Estate, no longer Master Stuart, but now he has become Mister Stuart, James started looking into becoming a Steward. James started hanging around Nathaniel Sanders, Jorge Ortiz, Conrad Monroe, and Clifton ((no clue))

1924:LA

James first real trial of force has happened in LA, some members of the Experment began trying to move in on his holdings in LA, James pulled in help from his allies, but James pulled his weight and showed the Experment that they are not able to move in on him.

1926:LA

James began cashing in on all the wealth he could access knowing that he would be the sole heir to the stakes his father had, James had organized a double homicide of his Parents, once all the legal issues were cleared up, James started selling off the wells on the fear that they may be drying up, and decided to get top dollar out of the risk he just took, James than started putting said money to work for him, as he started up some business’ in LA.

1928:LA

James now started liquidating all his assets, pulling out of all his risks, and keeping the cash locked up in his personal safe, James seems to be getting ready for something. ((continue with more info))

The Move to Sin City

1929:LA - Vegas

1932:Vegas

James began to get to work in Vegas looking at the Judicial and the Media Sectors. And building up his ties there, he doesn’t like the state of the economy still so, he keeps his investments to a Minimum, he does invest in starting up a bar to try to attract the influx of workers on Hoover dam. James also begins learning about the Crone here in Carcosa, learning what he can about there beliefs, to be able to keep his eyes on them. James looking for someone to allow him to get a leg up in the Judical Sector when he first arrived in Vegas, he made a lot of deals around this time, one with Veles where Veles would give him all the support that he could muster and keep pushing and pushing until James was content.. In trade off for the unaldutered support that Veles gave to James, James had agreed to a large boon for the support and help.

1934:Vegas

Began to facilitate the Smuggling routes into Vegas, for the Dam workers to come into Carcosa, keeping business rolling, as well as showing his Childe the ropes to building up a power base in this time frame. James still kept his eye on the Crone something that will never change, he knows that one needs to keep an eye one there allies just as close as there Nobel Partners..

1936:Vegas

James’ Childe begins to build up his influence base as well to assist the Estate where he can, he has taken his skill with Languages and begin taking the path as an interrupter for the Las Vegas Estate. James helps his childe where he can but doesn't want to coddle the Childe and spoil him. James has now done several favors for Veles Lazarak and has worked out an personal allegiance between the two where, they help each other out… James asks more questions about the Crone, and tries to talk with the man.

1942:Vegas

James’ uses his police ties, to assist Alexei Lazarak in putting control over the flesh trade in the city, after it had become outlawed within the city’s limits. James continues to build report with the Crone of the city.

1946:Vegas

With the Flamingo being built and maintained by the Mob, James started looking to fix some of the games or try to get part of the cut the house will rake in, James goes to Alexei Lazarak to help pay back a favor by getting him an inside man..

1950:Vegas

James has now warped his knowledge of Auspex to be able to practice telepathy, he started using it here and there picking information from the other Kindred in the City to help with his personal movements, as well as keep a closer Eye on the Circle. James also started digging into Glitter Gultch seeing potential from the Area as he starts trying to get casinos moving into the Area.

1952:Vegas

James Started Pressuring the city on a plan to keep the city under control with the Vigilante Police force that has popped up by keeping a number of them Ghouled and keeping the city under there thumbs for ever, he made moves and was relentless on pressuring the city at Large to adopt the Idea, Did not listen to the Council of Veles Lazarak and continued making the moves, until his plan was accepted, once accepted and put into Place it seemed like a great idea, it worked, it was great, James stock had really started to rise heavily in Vegas.... Until it all went south, James is not sure what happened, wither someone interfered in his plan, or it just wasn't that great of a plan, but hunters popped up from there police, and started killing. James lost his Childe when it went sour.

1957:Vegas

With the Death of his Childe he took sort of a break from the light separated himself from being really active in Society.. ((gotta talk to Gila as well))

1961:Vegas

After some time of separating himself from Society, in general James resurfaces, and begins pulling cards he had Saved up after some time, James moves in back to what he had in his Influence Base the estate acted as if nothing was up, as they had known where James had gone.. James began acting as a Senator primarily now in Las Vegas.

1968:Vegas

It was the Summer of 68 Ali had fought in Vegas 3 years ago, And the boxing world had turned upside down with the Vietnam war going on, James pressured heavily to get more major boxing bouts, James also learned his most important lesson about dealing with kindred on the mass scale.. we have long memory’s but short attention spans. James approched Violet asking for her assistance with locating him a Crassus Ghoul, she was willing to do so for a Large boon, James did accept the terms to her deal, and begun training up a ghoul for her to pay off his side of the boon.

1971:Vegas

James had faced frustration with one Violet Townsend, after a disagreement when her Sire and Grandsire had both entered into Elclipse, James naturally wished to take over their holdings, as well as take the bodies into his Care, he is still an acting Steward, has all the required room and equipment to keep torpid bodies safe and confortable, as well as proper training when the kindred rise from there elclipse to ensure there is no breach from a frenzied kindred. When Violet refused to allow James to do his function, he was naturally pissed, which caused the two to butt heads, and there was infighting between the two, this resentment between the two has lasted for years.

1975:Vegas

With infighting between the estate with him and Violet going on, and rebuilding up a solid reputation back in Carcosa, James had his near full control of the Media, and the Judicial allies. As well as he had been preforming dual roles for the covenant, it was this time that he begun looking for another childer. As well as keeping a hold in on all his ties with the arrival of the Carthains and the mass expansion of Vegas.

1977:Vegas

Found out about diaberlist, and went to prince first, started building up evidence that the Movement itself was harboring a Diaberlist, as well as remove any sort of foot hold that the movement may have in Vegas, he started covert operations and was too late, and was wrong on his assumptions, the Diaberlist had tried to Diaberlie Cha, James did not publically back off of the fact that the movement was harboring the diaberlist, and publically moved to the notion that with the addiction of the act, caused him to turn on his own protectors.. James privately approached Cha, and apologized for not warning her if she had no knowledge of the fact, stating that he will never publicly acknowledge any history of this talk. James offered to pay her a Large boon completely off the record for his error.

1985:Vegas

James again sets out to increase his holdings in the city, as he starts moving for Glitter Gultch, he begins digging into the area, as he petitions the Prince for the area. He also has started using his Telepathy to gather information that no one else knows, Primarily he is gleaning info from the Info brokers as there trying to sale it. Anytime that he can get info on meetings of the other covenants, he pops up in the meeting secretly as he listens to there plans and is sharing the info with Nathaniel

2007: Vegas

After getting granted North Las Vegas, James was approached by His Cousin Vasily for rights to influence Nellis, James agreed on Two circumstances, 1 small boon paid off yearly, as well as 1 additional favor, by training up one of his retainers yearly as well. James Cashed in on both favors this year by having Vasily locate him a Blue Nose Pittbull for his first Hound.

2008: Vegas

Spring

After watching Deangelo, for some time James approached Violet and spoke with her about him, seeing some potential if polished properly, James offered to approach him and try to get him to listen to reason, as well as offering to attempt to bring him into the estate. This offer was James trying to clear up any of the past resentment that he had with Violet. Later in

James finally collected enough information from surfing throw Deangelo?s thoughts, seeing what the man wants and needs, he finally approached him one evening on his way to the Elysium, and started talking to the man, about those needs, showing him how the Estate can help with that, and he would become a great man, at the very end he used his Trump card explaining the amount of blood the Estate has, and can pull up at a minutes notice, James was quite shocked when the offer was refused by Deangelo

Fall

James Cashed in on his Yearly favor from his Cousin again, this time by getting two retainers located one with some friends with the banks, and the nuns around Vegas, as well as someone with friends with some Hackers, as well as with the papers.

2009:Vegas

James again reached out to his Cousin one last time, asking for someone with friends in High Society, as well as the banks. James keeps moving in with his retainers in the areas of the city.

2010:Vegas

Approached by Deangelo Bell for feeding rights, the under nourished, close to frenzy weekly kindred was desperate, James secured Deangelo feeding rights in his domain for 2 small boons that he cashed in by having Deangelo locate him another Pittbull that James turned into a Hellhound as well.
