What other Kindred from your chosen City of Origin would know
[edit]
Philadelphia!
- JD was a young Carthian buck who was known for swagger and fast-talk, before he was embraced (he was embraced in '72 if it matters) most Kindred believed, if they cared, that he was probably a pusher for some irish folk pushing heroin.
- He got embraced by a lady named Ophelia (who had the nickname "Opie" because half the time she was on some opium) and started working streets for her. Fell in with the Carthians during this time, and got along pretty well with them.
- Wasn't ever really a go-to guy for the Carthians, as he didn't deal a whole lot in politics, but always had his fingers in the streets and was willing to share with his "brothers and sisters" of the revolution. Shared money and supplies too when he could get them, so it wasn't like he was a slouch.
- In the late 90's JD started changing, he would disappear off the map for a couple weeks at a time, then show up talking about Acolyte rites he'd been attending. Soon thereafter he was known to be spending more time with Acolytes than with Carthians, though he kept a pretty cordial friendship with the Carthians themselves.
- A couple years ago that started to change even more, he divorced himself more from the Carthians, at least in hanging-out patterns, and when he'd come back, he always seemed a little less humane. But that didn't really stop his swagger, people just figured he learned to better cover up whatever atrocities he'd been taking part of in the off-time.
- Some Carthians tuned him our and stepped back from him, but others were welcoming of the idea of someone with magic in their arsenal being on good terms with the Carthians especially in the warzone of Philly.
- Those who looked into it were aware that JD was taking part in a small cult that worshiped the warrior and lover aspect of a female goddess, much like other small cults are wont to do. Any attempts to "assimilate" fell flat; they didn't want to be a part of other cults.
