On this night, Friday the 22nd of June, individuals from the Masters of the Night – the Invictus – are to bear witness to the formation and joining of two individual Kindred of Quality to form the House known as Themesis. This House, to be known as a Cyclic Dynasty, is formed by the joining of both blood and mind from the Patron, Bridget Connelly, and the Protégé, Anthony Anderson.
The members of House Themesis, from here on referenced as “Themesis” in formalities or informally as Bridget or Anthony of Themesis, claim all assets of wealth, largesse and station under the name of Themesis. Such assets and property are to be shared as if they were owned by a singular personage. All retainers to members of House Themesis will be fed by a Kindred of the House as normal, and all retainers will accept that they serve the House unconditionally or be destroyed as worthless property.
All members of House Themesis will subject themselves to the blood oath so that no others may force vinculum upon them, nor may they serve other masters but those within the House itself. Any potential protégé to House Themesis will furthermore subject themselves to the blood oath of the Patron of the house, or the eldest that is awake. Protégés to the House Themesis will be watched and judged for a period of the Patron and other Protégés choosing and all must agree for entrance into the House.
Active members of House Themesis will provide secure – without a doubt – resting spots for those who may be in the eclipse, and will at all times have on hand the ability for a complete satement of appetite for any member who may awaken from the eclipse. Such satement is to be clear of any tampering or poisons (such as drugs, alcohol or outside supernatural forces) and will be regularly checked.
Foes of House Themesis’ members will be dealt with as foes of the entire House. All active members will take part in discussions on outside threats and take part in remedies to them. Protection of House Themesis’ members, assets and properties shall be the full order of each member.
It is understood that for all functions that are served by each member of House Themesis, all members must be prepared to serve and handle the responsibilities therein without falter or fail, and uphold the name of Themesis in all matters regarding station, estate, possessions and acquired power.
The Tribunal of Themesis will provide as the eyes of the Patron of House Themesis – by this document’s writing Bridget of Themesis – and watch for incorrect or irreparable damage to the House Themesis by the Protégé of House Themesis – at the time of this document’s writing Anthony of Themesis – or to the personage of the Patron during the times of eclipse or activity. Should any activity be deemed “traitorous” or otherwise wholly detrimental to the House Themesis (such as the atrocious act of Amaranth, or purposely betraying all secrets and assets or wealth acquired) it is understood that the Kindred of Quality within the Tribunal understand that is both their duty and their right to uphold the tenets of Invictus Tradition and descend upon the Protégé with ferociousness and mercilessness typically reserved for the most despicable of Oath Breakers and vagrants and put the Protégé to Final Death.
It is understood at the signing of this document that neither Bridget, nor Anthony are intending to enter the eclipse at any point in the recent future and thus will be considered a point of “Summit” for the house. However, when one chooses to enter the eclipse they will do so for a minimum dedicated at the time of voluntary eclipse. In the interests of the House, it is expected during this tenure that the remaining waking member provides for the most secure possibility of resting arrangement for the eclipsing member of the House. Furthermore, it is understood that during such a tenure, the active member of the House Themesis will continue to work for the assets of the House, and watch for a third member to create a more stable and firmly grounded house.
Finally, after a term of 10 years, this compact may be revised, or when a member of the House wakes from the eclipse, whether voluntary or involuntary. All members of House Themesis must agree on the dissolution of compact.
