This document exists as the written acknowledgement of Madam Gabrielle Wingate, Librettist childe of Mister Lyndon Bannister to Her Grace, the Second Duchess of Carcosa, Virginia, Victoria Davenport. The compact so written reflects the agreement between Madam Gabrielle Wingate and Her Grace, the Second Duchess of Carcosa, Virginia, Victoria Davenport and the required tithes or payment for the management of territories known as Starkhorn Heights and Pappelbon Row. This compact, written in vitae, is understand to be a binding document.

I, Gabrielle Wingate, of completely free will and free of supernatural compulsion, do hereby pen these words in my own vitae to acknowledge the contractual agreement I have entered into as Vassal to Her Grace, the Second Duchess of Carcosa, Virginia, Victoria Davenport. I understand that so long as the following terms are upheld, by my word, the territories of Starkhorn Heights and Pappelbon Row will furthermore be under my control in Carcosa, Virginia. The terms to which I will faithfully uphold from henceforth are as follows:

I shall, in agreement to manage the territories of Starkhorn Heights and Pappelbon Row, agree to maintain and monitor the wheat of kine in the territory at least once per two weeks either personally or via one of my own vassals. Though I do not need to report these findings directly to Her Grace, the Second Duchess of Carcosa, Virginia, Victoria Davenport, I understand that it will be a violation of this Oath if I do not willingly seek to maintain vigil during this time, and acknowledge that it will violate this contract as written.

I shall, in agreement for the allowance to influence the territories of Starkhorn Heights and Pappelbon Row, agree to owe tithe of Her Grace, the Second Duchess of Carcosa, Virginia, Victoria Davenport’s choosing once per year’s time, with the period of time beginning on the first day of the year, regardless of when the tithe was assigned the prior year. I agree that should I be assigned tithe, I will seek to pay my debt to Her Grace, the Second Duchess of Carcosa, Virginia, Victoria Davenport with haste, or should she give a time period in which it shall be done in, use every available resource to fulfill my owed debt. I understand that if I have not begun work on repaying the tithe within one week’s time from it’s assignment, it will constitute a violation of this contract.

I shall, as agreed upon holder of the territories Starkhorn Heights and Pappelbon Row, swear to uphold all Laws of Carcosa, Virginia and Her Grace, the Second Duchess of Carcosa, Virginia, Victoria Davenport and enforce them at all on any tenants, influencers or hunting Kindred within my territory. Willingly allowing, or willingly ignoring, a breach of the Laws of Her Grace, the Second Duchess of Carcosa, Virginia, Victoria Davenport will constitute a violation of this document.

In the event that I am forced to act against this oath by supernatural compulsion, then said actions do not constitute a violation of this oath; however, I shall not willingly submit to any such supernatural affect as such would constitute a violation of this oath. Should such compulsion be forced upon me, I shall immediately leave when able so long as my life is not in danger and notify Her Grace, the Second Duchess of Carcosa, Virginia, Victoria Davenport, or one of her vassals, of the supernatural compulsion, what was spoken of and whom was present when it was afflicted upon me.

I understand by writing this document that it may only be voided by Her Grace, the Second Duchess of Carcosa, Virginia, Victoria Davenport and should I wish to be free of this document’s binding nature, I must speak with Her Grace, the Second Duchess of Carcosa, Virginia, Victoria Davenport directly to be released from this contractual agreement in a manner that befits.
