A world of made

is not a world of born --- pity poor flesh

and trees, poor stars and stones, but never this

fine specimen of hypermagical

ultraomnipotence.

Description

He's a little on the slight side, moon-pallid and with a rather drawn, thin face, and amber-hazel eyes stare out at the world with a relentless, frightening perceptiveness. On the average night out and about--when the function is neither Elysium nor formal Order affairs--he's in tight, ragged-kneed jeans and a dark t-shirt that displays "SOLVE" tattooed on the inside of his right forearm and "COAGULA" on the other. There's a hint of an azure Chinese dragon tattooed up his spine, barely displayed by his clothes, and lately he's taking to spiking his brown hair and coloring the tips blue. Slick, dark glasses sit atop his nose, and a faint sulfuous smell follows him...

Beginning of the Game Information

Exactly what rank Frederick Gottlieb holds within the Ordo Dracul is a mystery to everyone outside his covenant. He is one of the more recent additions to Atlanta, and is believed to hold some kind of standing within his covenant, but just what it is remains unknown – and, indeed, it is unlikely that he will be revealing his secrets anytime soon – he wouldn’t be a very good Mekhet if he did.

Gottlieb is easily one of the most fashionable Kindred in Atlanta. He keeps up with current styles, current trends, and current slang – just about everything current. He adapts easily, and only his name seems out of place, but most pay it no mind. Atlanta is, after all, a fairly cosmopolitan city.

Gottlieb is supposedly most recently a resident of Nashville, though his name and his flawless German suggests that he might be from somewhere else. Then again, he is rumored to speak several languages just as well, so exactly where he’s from is anyone’s guess. Some rumors suggest that he’s an ex-Nazi doctor in hiding. Others say that he’s from the old German colonies in Africa, and that he learned the sacred spiritual magic of its peoples. Still others believe he’s actually Austrian, and learned politics from contemporaries such as Metternich, though he doesn’t seem to have actually involved himself in politics at all.

Gottlieb is definitely an educated man, and is rumored to have a formidable command over his clan’s signature discipline of Auspex. He is alleged to have gathered a collection of occult lore and secrets, and supposedly guards them jealously. That such a cosmopolitan, current Kindred could be some kind of hoary occultist seems terribly implausible once you meet him, but the truth remains a mystery.
