Overview
For as long as there has been the Order of the Thorned Wreath there has been the Fiore Mortale. No one knows quite where they originated however it wasn’t until later that they were actually given the name the Fiore Mortale which was coincidently around the time the first Italian dueling code was developed. Now, however, they can be found in most of the major social centers of the world. It was the natural progression of things that it should be the Daeva that sponsored this bloodline; the Daeva who are beautiful and deadly at once.
The Fiore Mortale consider it their sacred duty to enforce the “proper” social order, which usually means the Invictus’ social order as many of the Fiore Mortale find themselves as members of the Invictus.
The Fiore Mortale will utilize whatever tool they have available to insure that the proper orders are followed which makes them very much favored as harpies in Invictus courts and very unfavored in others. However, the Fiore Mortale realized long ago that sometimes words are merely not enough and thus many the Fiore Mortale are also trained in the tenants of honorable combat as well. Due to the fact that they prize the “honorable” part of their combat more so than the actual combat part, all of the Fiore Mortale are expected to know the rules of the Code Duello.
These skills do not make them boastful and arrogant however, as that would be the height of unrefinement.
The Fiore Mortale value courtesy, politesse, social order and honor above all other things.
