Eveline Carre

Before Atlanta :
Born in 1870 in France, Eveline was the daughter of a working class family, who spent most of his days in poverty. He barely got out of night school. Money was hard to find at the day, and Eveline found himself ending up in hard labor, living a rough life up until the age of 22. At the age of 22 Eveline got a job at the docks, and got involved with the french unions, who were at the time struggling for more job rights. Eveline for once in her life, found something to struggle for, something to focus on, something more than daily survival. Given wholeheartedly to that struggle, Eveline was literally crushed when that whole movement was suppressed by political bribes and coercions. She met her would be husband in the union, William, 4 years later, William went sick and died of heart failure. Eveline recovered soon from that blow and focused on her fight for job rights even harder.
Eveline didnt know, that she had dragged the attention of her would be sire. Eveline was approached several times during speeches, and other times at the unions, and engaged in many conversations with the man who would change her life forever. Finally he ghouled her, and brought her into this new world of his, he spent a lot of years, teaching her about the real world, about the movement, and about what was her duty to all vampires. He emraced her in 1899.
Eveline embraced her sire's lessons with zeal, and gave herself fullheartedly to her new life. But the old world was too much entrenched in stone, the traditions and old lines of kindred gave little room for the movement to breath. Certain heated conflicts started within the movement. The movement breaks in two factions, which soon move past words and into actual conflict. During one of those conflicts Eveline went a bit too far, clawing a carthian to ash. Her carthian friends claimed self defence, which partially was, as the dead was wielding a sword, still, the fact alone earned her a few enemies. She then decided to move over to the new world, and specifically, Atlanta. She arrived in Atlanda in 1907, along with a fair number of other carthians.
In Atlanta :
1907 : She and most of the carthians were also approached by Anthony Anderson at the time, she had no problems sharing her views..
1915 : after Leo Frank's lynching, Trey Surname, another Carthian, wanted to exact vengeance on the guards, and have them assassinated. George Fowler, another Carhian had interests in those specific guards, and he was aware of Trey's intentions. Eveline stepped in and defured the tension between them, by convincing Trey to exact his vengeance on only one of those guads, the one the least useful to George Fowler.
1921 : Reacted to Anderson's joining with utter optimism, she openly expressed this to be a new era for the experiment.
1922 : Eveline supports Trey in the carthian elections not just by voting, but by urging others too. Elections end up with Trey King as Prefect.
1924 : Trey nominates Eveline for the Myrmidon position based on her previous work at solving disputes, and specifically the Leo Frank incident, she wins with an augmented majority. .
1939 : With the invictus not present, she moves to consolidate her influences.
1945 : A public spat with Clementine Beaumont starts, rumors flare about how they used to be lesbian lovers, it lasts for a while, with bitchy comments thrown from both sides, it never gets out of hand.
1951: Eveline cant help but view the new insurgense of kindred in town, with some worry, she mostly remains silent during that time , , her recent election as Myrmidon keeping her prerry busy with in covenant affairs.
1960 : Eveline embraces Jonathan Styles legally. Jonathan, rumored to be knee deep in street connections maintains a good public profile, in the meantime abusing his newfound gifts to augment his power among gangs. A fact that later brought him at odds with Trey King.
1962 : Her childe, Jonathan, moves to threaten Trey King openly in a carthian meeting. Trey king does not respond to anything. Eveline warns her childe, urging him to settle the matter in a peaceful way and start negotiations with Trey King.
1963 : Her childe, Jonathan, has people assassinate one of Trey King's key links to the street, and makes no move to cover his track, challenging Trey King to respond in kind.
1964 : Jonathan Styles goes missing for the public, Eveline lured him in a trap and killed him. The event never goes public, and still remains a secret known only by Anthony, Trey and Eveline.
In the few years following the death of her childe Eveline, slips away from public eyes, focusing solely on her duties as Myrmidon. This goes on for another 4 years.
1970: During the Civil Rights movement, Eveline used her Law & Enforcement allies to help keep the heat off the movement, a fact that strained her influence a bit and she would need several busy years to recover.
1975 : Mildred Winters accidentally finds Eveline Carre near fatally wounded, with severe burns all over her body, near an abandoned building in Decatur. She shelters her until she fully recovers. The best explanation Mildred could get our of her was her fevered words about "her past catching up with her". Still, rumor has it that Eveline's enemies from the old world, carthians, that finally caught up with her.
1975-1977 Eveline keeps a very low profile, Mildred Winters spreads the word out is that she is presumed dead. She only appears in carthian meetings, or when there is some dispute to mediate. She reappears only when she speculates her hunters have left town.
1977-1983 Eveline goes public again, and often visits the Elysium, frequently, socialising with pretty much everyone. She stops visiting when Connelly starts pulling rants on people, although bothered, she never expresses an opinion openly.
1983-1997 Nothin important seems to happen in her life, at least she doesnt seem to share it with anybody, which leads people to say that she has /no/ personal life. She keeps frequenting the elysiums, and never misses a carthian meeting, but other than that, nothing.
1997-2000 Two ongoing carthian disputes, one between Trey King and Mildred Waters, and one between DJ, and Trey King occupy most of her time. Devon Jones, following the advice of Mildred Winters, begins to branch out and decides to make a move on the streets. He encounters resistance, but manages to fight back due to his having a larger bankroll than anyone suspected he would have. Things get hairy as the influence war develops and it turns out that DJ is fighting with none other than Trey King. After both sides struggle for some time, each taking some losses, they attempt to resolve their dispute. Eveline Carre is brought in to mediate, and decides largely in DJ's favor, giving the young Carthian a substantial amount of sway over the streets of Atlanta.
2000 : Eveline goes into a deal with Devon Jones, of mutual support in the Law $ Enforcement, and Street influences.
