Known Information: Eric rules San Antonio in a laissez-faire manner when it comes to any thing outside of the Testament’s dictates and even those he enforces rather liberally. Eric is known to the Sanctified as a Neo-reformist and firmly believes that each individual is the best interpreter of the Testament for himself. In matters of dogmatic transgressions, Eric’s been known to let someone off with a warning if they can use the Testament to argue their side of the issue. Even the Crone and Ordo in the city can find little complaint with Eric because in general he lets them do whatever they want. It’s maybe this reason that there’s been rumors lately of tithes not quite making it to the Overlord. It’s a well known fact that Eric called in some favors to get his brother Charles appointed Bishop in Los Angeles.

Rumors: Eric’s true loyalty isn’t to the Overlord at all but to William Miller, the Overlord of the Heartland. Eric’s actually a follower of Lilith but he dominated the Inquisitor to forget he heard that rumor. Eric’s just holding the Bishopric of San Antonio until his sire wakes up from torpor, which is why he doesn’t care much about what happens. The truth is, Eric’s cursed by the Acolytes and unable to feel any strong emotion. Eric loses the tithes to the Overlord on purpose because once the Overlord told Eric he didn’t deserve to be Bishop. Charles, Eric’s brother, actually vinculumed Eric and Eric works for him instead of the Overlord.
