Beginning of the Game Information

The Sheriff of Atlanta is one of those rarely-seen Kindred that, nonetheless, makes an impact whenever she does show up. Elizabeth is a rather cold Kindred, and does her job with mechanical precision. It isn’t terribly likely that she enjoys it – being the Sheriff is a difficult thing, especially when one is a member of the Ordo Dracul, which has a carefully-cultivated image of neutrality in Atlanta. While only criminals come to truly hate the Sheriff, other Kindred fear her, or are at least suspicious of her.

Elizabeth is a fairly recent addition to the Kindred of Atlanta. She used to work at the CDC, and was supposedly quite a brilliant researcher. Some rumors suggest that she was embraced because the Ordo Dracul hoped to develop a virus that would affect Kindred, others because God felt it necessary to damn one that would so casually use science to control earth-shattering illnesses. None really know, but it is known that she has retained her knowledge and connections to the facility in spite of her death.

Elizabeth is rumored to be a master of Obfuscate, appearing anywhere, at anytime, to confront whichever criminal is breaking the Prince’s laws. She has never frenzied in all her years of service, and is known to be powerful and terrifyingly strong. She also seems to have a fondness for using whatever is at hand to subdue her quarry, and once dragged in a Kindred who had quite obviously been torpored by a screwdriver – it was still wedged in his heart. Some Kindred whisper that she is a member a secret bloodline founded in Japan, with ties to the ancient ninja clans.

Elizabeth is generally amiable towards members of the Ordo Dracul, but exactly what her relationship with them is remains obscured by the veil of secrecy the Ordo wears. She likely can’t be involved too much with them – after all, patrolling the city and tending to her Court duties can only leave so much time.

Elizabeth is quite obviously a Nosferatu. Her particular flaw seems to be an ever-present sickness, perhaps a legacy of her time at the CDC. The exact symptoms vary from time to time, but she always appears to be sick – almost deathly ill – which can be fairly off-putting to most people and even most Kindred despite the fact that it doesn’t seem to impair her in any way. After all, if she is actually sick with something that affects Kindred, is it contagious? None of her feeding vessels have ever exhibited any form of sickness, so instead of turning to facts the Kindred of Atlanta turn to rumors.
