An elder is a vampire who has actively been in her/his Requiem for a minimum of 150 years. Elders often are the most powerful and influencial members in Kindred Society and cities with Kindred. For the purposes of suspire.org, this is a character who has reached Blood Potency 4

In some domains or cities all Priscii are Elders, as one definition of a priscus is the eldest member in a clan.

Elders, due to their age and often high Blood Potency, succumb to torpor.
