Torpor

Torpor is the comatose, deathlike sleep vampires enter, either voluntarily or after sustaining so much damage that they collapse. Torpor thins the blood and causes the memory to become hazy. A vampire can only awaken from torpor either by being fed thick enough blood (thereby bonding the vampire a step), or by waiting for a length of time defined by the vampire's Humanity and Blood Potency.
