Description

A three story warehouse located in Five Points. It appears to be an older warehouse built somewhere around the 1920s, being composed primarily of brick. The outside appears to be fairly shabby, with several windows bricked over. The surrounding lot is paved, and a large iron fence stands between it and the street.

There is only one obvious entry point, a heavy door at the top of a short flight of steps. It is securely locked at all times.

A basement is hidden from public view.

Internal Descriptions

First Floor

When one enters the Warehouse, the initial room entered is the Common Room. It is primarily designed to be an area for socializing, and for informal meetings. Four Pillars surround a centralized table, where placards with announcements are placed. A staircase to one side leads to the Second Floor.

One of the rooms on the First Floor is the Library. A keycard scanner sits near both of the doors leading out of the Common Room, the one on the right as one enters leads to the Library. The Library is made to be a comfortable place to research, providing internet access as well as areas to spread out to work. The library is well stocked on mundane (+2 Create Art, Repair Items, Solving Enigmas) works as well as works on the occult. A computer terminal is provided for member use. (+3 Hacking) with internet connection (+1 Hacking, Research, Solving Enigmas), which provides access to the closed circuit database housed at the academy. There is no way to access the database over the internet (The terminal itself is secured against hacking attempts with 5 successes).

The second room on the first floor is for all intents and purposes totally empty, but with a thick door that is set on a timer. The controls for the door are on a small keypad on the wall outside the room next to the door. Once closed, the door is unable to be opened from the inside until the timer expires. A small sign on the door denotes this room as the "Room of Ferocity"

There is another door that leads to the Basement, which is keycard locked.

There is a white marble plaque on the wall that stands out from everything else and prominently bears the symbol of the Ordo Dracul. Engraved on the same in gold lettering, in a simple list format, is the following:

I. A Dragon has no loyalty above his studies.
II. A Dragon must understand, accept and embrace purposeful change.
III. A Dragon is responsible for all she is and all she does.

Flanking that plaque are two smaller plaques done in a similiar style.

The plaque on the left reads: Nothing is permanent.
The plaque on the right reads: Change must have a purpose.

Below the central plaque, a smaller plaque proclaims:

All change can be measured if one has the proper tools and knowledge.

Basement Floor (The Labs)

The Basement is divided into two sections, a scientific laboratory, and an alchemical laboratory. The scientific lab is very metallic, all horizontal surfaces are covered in stainless steel, and the usual scientific equipment necessary for chemical experiments. There are three partitioned off cells to hold subjects, including appropriate restraints. "(+1 Interrogation)". There is also an oversized refrigerator and a walk-in freezer to preserve biological specimens. A rack holds numerous surgical tools that assist in Biological Experiments (+2 Interrogation), and cabinets are well stocked with numerous drugs and poisons. (+3 Interrogation; Venom, Potency 5; Poison, Potency 3).

  • Small Red Stone with Swirling Interior, labeled: "Stone of the Gods, according to hearsay, allows for vitae infusion; Unknown-maker" ((2 vitae Sanguine Stone))
  • Small vial with slecks and flakes of a yellowish coloration: "Bile sample; 'Flesh-Creature'; has lost corrosive properties."
  • A rather large amount of ashes, enough to perhaps have once been several Kindred.

The Alchemical Laboratory looks almost as if it was transported out of the 15th century directly into a more modern structure. Numerous glass tubes and flasks line the shelves, with strange looking gizmos of undetermined utility reside on every counter. Sample bottles line a rack on one side.

Second Floor

The second floor is set up with 5 bedroom style rooms, complete with computer terminals like the one in the library, a meditation room, the server room, and the Caucus Room.

The bedrooms are setup to provide the basics necessary and little more. There is a bed, washbasin, computer terminal with access to the internal network and internet, and nothing else. The windows are bricked over to prevent sunlight from entering.

The Meditation Room is setup with a small table surrounded by four cushions. Various objects, including incense and candles, rest on a shelf alongside a small stereo and CDs that hold relaxing music. (+5 Meditation).

The Server Room is just that, the room that houses the servers that run the internal network. This room is keycard locked, and two terminals reside here. Each terminal has a Fingerprint lock on it.

The Caucus Room is set up in the form of a large conference room, with seats provided along the side in the event of overflow. The table will seat 10 comfortably.

Third Floor

A fingerprint lock hidden behind a picture opens a hidden door leading to the third floor, where a moderately sized bedroom is set up, with a closet full of suits, shoes, and glasses. A small desk houses a few notebooks and plug ins for a laptop.

OOC Notes

  • The House has +3 Intelligence for all characters (Geomantic Nexus Potency).
