Covenant

A covenant is a sect of Kindred grouped together by political or spiritual leanings.
In the beginning of history (at least known Kindred history) the Camarilla was at the head of all Kindred. When the Camarilla collapsed the Kindred populance fell naturally into scheming and plotting for that ultimate rulership again. However, without the Camarilla to unite them all under a single banner factions were created. These factions evolved into today's Covenants.
