César's History

César Grey (Born July 10, 1980) was born in Manhattan, New York to Alex Grey and Anya Grey. His mother Anya is of French decent and his Father Alex is of Spanish decent though both were born in Manhattan, New York. He has an Identical Twin Brother, Adrián. His father was a New York City Policeman for several years before meeting his mother who woked as an attorney for a private law firm. César's grew up in a very conservative family, his parents were catholic and although he shared some of their beliefs he would discribe himself as a very liberal person. He prides himself on his upbringing, noting that his family values helped shape him into the man he is today. Both him and his brother grew up in a "upper middle class" household, since both parents worked long hours him and his brother were often left alone in their house. Their parents, like many other working parents, would try and make up for their lack of time with their children by buying them things. And although some might consider their children spoiled they were also taught to appreciate what they had and to never take it for granted. They were also taught to be polite and charitable to those who went without.

By the time César was 13 he knew something was diffrent about him and when he reached 18 he came to terms with his homosexuality. Knowing his parents would never accept this he decided to keep things quiet untill he graduated and moved out for College. He and his brother would share an appartment together while they attended College and it was at this point that he decided to open up to his brother about his sexuality. Adrián, to César's surprise, was accepting and would later come out about his bisexuality. Neither wanting to tell their parents. Over the years César would work on getting his Doctorate in Psychology, the field had always been his passion and would later help fuel his desire to join the Ordo Dracul.

César and Adrián, ever the club goers, were at Gym Sportsbar when they ran into Mickey Anderson. After a few drinks and some pool they were invited to what Mikey described as an "exclusive" party. Both brothers interested not only in the party but Mikey as well agreed to follow him, later that night both were bedded and sired by the manipulative Daeva. Mikey would later admit to studying the brothers over the years, his "reason" for embracing them was to preserve their talents and beauty, or so he said. Regardless of his reasons the brothers would grow to accept their new lives..or unlife. César would end up joining the Ordo Dracul applying his Doctrate in Psychology to help his reasearch in Parapsychology and Mesmerism. His curiosity in life to understand Humans would create an echo in death, wanting to understand his Kindred curse. Being a Daeva, César was asked to act as a Diplomat for the Ordo Dracul. His social prowess would see to it he would excell in this position, his reasearch however staggered would still continue.

After years of preperation and study César would become ready to enter his first Chrysalis. Locking himself in a cell and fasting before his Mentor offered him fresh blood. He would resist the temptation gaining his first Coil of the Beast. Shortly after his "transformation" César decided it was time to leave New York and move to Carcosa.
