When first entering there Civil War Museum there are tables spread out with a large collections of masks. With a small sign with blue lettering. "For your enjoyment." The Masks
The Cyclorama, located farther within the Civil War Museum, has been completely transformed for the event. Thick off white cloth is draped over the murals giving the feeling of entering a large tent. The cloth is also draped across chairs and covering tables. The lights are low giving a subdued ambiance and the music is a collection of classical orchestra with a strong underlining beat. In the center of the circular room is a wooden post painted white with four digital movie projectors propped on top. Vintage images from the actual Venetian Carnival are projected over the cloth covered murals. The center dais spins, along with the projectors, making a moving work of art with larger then life Venetians dancing around the room in replacement of the war themed murals.
