Atlanta Police Department

Description
Bustling at all hours, but most busy at night, the bizarrely gothic architecture of the Atlanta Police Department’s building is a stark contrast to the modern smooth-glass sided buildings that surround it. It truly makes the Police Department’s building look like something out of a Tim Burton film – large, imposing and medieval in stature.
Out front is a memorial added to all of the Atlanta Police Chiefs since the city’s founding, and it’s considered a great honor to be added in bronze out front on a plaque – in the last thirty years, however, the turn-over in Chief has been so great that a row of ten has been completely filled up – a testament to the growing city (and the growing crime rate and media pressure).
Long accused of police brutality, incompetence and general dislike of the public, the more veteran officers often look grizzled, hardened and downright unapproachable, while the rookies or young members of the force that come and go can almost certainly be pinpointed by their years with the force ... it’s that obvious.

Benefits
Minor
Either you’ve gotten yourself in good with one of the police officers, or you just know who to ham it up with, either way you benefit from the police presence in the area, and have little trouble when you hang around.
- +1 Investigation; Can overhear police chatter and gossip
Sizable
You could have made a citizens arrest or two in your time, or maybe cops there at the precinct think you’re an undercover, plain-clothes or vet – either way, when you start talking, you have no trouble finding out what’s going on, and occasionally can even get a favor out of the mix.
- +1 Investigation; Can overhear police chatter and gossip; Can give beat cops “tip-offs” that might just get followed up on; Can use any Level 1 Allies (Law & Enforcement) free once a month.
Uncontested
King of the Police HQ, that’s you. You’ve got access to anywhere that detectives have access to, and no one really bats an eye if you head down into the holding cells, either. Of course, while you can go into the evidence room, it might be a little suspicious if things start disappearing regularly, right after you’ve made a round through there...
