History
1805: Arthur Britmann was born as the son off Michael Britmann and Anna Britmann. He was born into a poor household, in one of the slums of New York.
1810: Anna Britmann died of smallpox. Arthur and Michael got ill, but survived the disease. Michael now has to do the work of two, and is hardly ever home. Arthur grows up on the streets.
1819: Michael Britmann dies of the simple flu. Arthur inherits the house, which doesn’t mean much. His parent’s didn’t have any savings, and Arthur has to fend for himself. He is determined to not live in the same way his parents did, poor living conditions, and working from 6 till 10. He tries to find himself a job where he can work himself up.
1822: Arthur still isn’t any closer too his goals, and decides to move to another city and attempt to build up a name for himself there. He spends most of his money on a ticket to Atlanta.
1823:
Winter: Arthur arrives in Atlanta along with a lot of other settlers. He manages to get himself a job as a running boy for one of the richer occupants of town. The last of his money he spends on a clothes and a place to sleep.
Fall: Arthur impresses the people he works for, and quickly moves up the ranks.
1827: Arthur is a hard and diligent worker. His employer, Nicholas Longson takes note, and appoints him as a supervisor for a bank he owns. Arthur once again puts his full effort into the work.
1835: Nicholas has taken a liking to Arthur, and sees in him a person who could potentially take over the bank he owns. Arthur doesn’t particularly like Nicholas, but acts like he does, furthering the bond between them.
1838: Nicholas dies after a month of sickness. Arthur inherits ownership of the bank. No one is quite sure what it was that Nicholas suffered from, but some people suspect that Arthur was behind it. After all, he did gain the most from it.
1839: Arthur quickly starts to branch his money into other businesses in the growing city. He’s seen as a up and comer, and investors are lining up to support ideas he has.
1840: Arthur belong to the top society of Atlanta, and manages to attract the interest of Marcus Walker, a unaligned Ventrue. Marcus closely follows Arthur’s actions, and starts considering him as a potential embrace.
1842: Arthur is embraced by a Unaligned Gangrel by the name Geoffrey Blanchard, who is out to simply spite Marcus Walker, a Unalinged Ventrue. He learns the basics steps of the Danse Macabre from him.
1845:
Summer: Geoffrey Blanchard dies at the hand of Marcus Walker. Geoffrey’s coterie quickly retaliates and kills Marcus, moving out of the city before someone can retaliate back. Arthur manages to survive on his own.
Fall: Arthur requests membership in the Invictus, a covenant that seems to confirm with the way he thinks. He is sponsored by Catherine Jung.
1846: Arthur is manumitted. He swears a ten year Fealty to Catherine Jung.
1856: Arthur is released from his Oath of Fealty. He however still has a good relation with Catherine Jung.
1858:
Summer: After an enterprising Unaligned Daeva by the name of Geraldine killed Arthur’s bank contact. He however suspected Vincent Boston, and challenged him to Monomacy. Arthur kills Boston during the monomacy. His relation with Catherine Jung cools significantly after this action.
Winter: Chas Houston informs Arthur who really killed his bank contact. He, and the Invictus, react appropriately. A lot of blood is spilled in the action and Michael Winchester warns the kindred of the city about spending to much blood. Arthur seems to regret his monomacy with Boston, but hardly ever speaks of it.
1862: Arthur feels the war coming, and starts securing his investments. He successfully does so, and seems ready to sit out the war. He withdraws from the public scene for a year, to make sure his investments are secure.
1864: The war indeed arrives, but Arthur manages to ride it out, his investments indeed secured. Kindred are supprised that he takes it all so callously, and some think him a fool, for not taking the war more serious.
1867: Michael Winchester is granting many domains. Arthur manages to impress him and in doing so manages to secure what would become Five Points for himself.
1870: His domain is violently taken over by Chas Houston and his coterie. Arthur barely manages to escape. He immediately starts trying to regain the domain.
1873: Arthur starts getting frustrated by his failing attempts to get back into the domain. He withdraws from the political scene for a while, and only has contact when it is needed, or when it could help him regain his domain.
1880: Arthur disappears completely from Atlanta. All that is know to a few select kindred is that he has gone to look for an Avus of the Annunaku bloodline. He leaves his empire in the hands of a few trusted ghouls.
1881: Arthur manages to find an Native American Avus by the name of Camarin. She is not at all ready to teach him however, seeing in him the killers of her Race.
1882: Arthur finally manages to convince Camarin to take him on as a tutor. He is a good and attentive student, quickly picking up the lessons she teaches him. He starts learning the background of the Annunaku lineage, as well how to control, protect and sense what is going on in ones domain. She also teaches him how to carve kudurru.
1890:
Winter: Arthur’s training is almost done. He heads back to Atlanta, but promises to come back and help Camarin within two years. The last part of his training involves him moving towards Atlanta, using no alternate forms of travel besides the one he can provide for himself.
Fall: Arthur arrives in Atlanta and quickly manages to get atop of his business again. He also starts to strengthen his connections again, and sets up a small demesne inside Atlanta. His heightened blood potency does not go unnoticed, but no traces of diablerie can be found.
1891: Arthur returns to Camarin, helping her protect the land she rules over legally and financially.
1892: Arthur returns towards Atlanta once more. He is set upon getting back his hold over Five Points. He also starts studying to become a Commissioner.
1893: Arthur manages to seize the position of Gangrel Priscus for himself. No one seems terribly surprised or bothered by this. For himself it is a personal victory however.
1895: Although he has managed to get some of the influence he lost back, he is still far from being the supreme ruler of Five Points. His attentions are devided by his studies to become a Commissioner and ways to get his domain back. He is hardly ever seen in Elysium.
1897: Arthur is granted the position of Commissioner by the Inner Circle, a job that he seems to handle nicely, despite his Gangrel lineage.
1906: The race riots don’t particularly influence Arthur, besides the fact that some of his businesses get vandalized.
1915:
Spring: Arthur starts looking for a childe, hoping that he or she can help him regain control over Five Points, and finds a potential candidate in James William Hopkins. He keeps track of him.
Fall: Arthur ghouls James William Hopkins, and starts preparing him for the embrace.
1917: Arthur embraces James William Hopkins.
1920: Bridget Connelly and Arthur enter a relationship. Both of them seem to gain from it.
1930: As the depression hits, and Arthur still hasn’t managed to get his domain back, he decides to slip into torpor. He informs his allies of this, and then earth melds inside his haven. Of the latter, only Bridget and James know. The house that is his haven is also claimed by Bridget as she takes hold of his belongings.
