Description

Leading up into the private patch of land is a lonely, unlighted street with a new road sign that designates it as Goao Way. The road, designated as Private via a road-sign leading up to it, winds back a hundred yards through lush Vinings woods towards the Chattahoochee River. At the end of the road is a singular property that stands about twenty yards from the banks of the river itself.

The building itself is small (Haven Size 2), but is entirely composed of marble and stone craftsmanship. It looks like a duplication of a much larger building that you’d find from the classical eras of Greece and Rome. It’s been purposefully weathered, slightly, so that it doesn’t have the “new” shine to it, though it still does not have the true weathering of age over it.

The grounds are lush, with many of the local shrubberies, plants, small trees and trees from the forests on the grounds, like great care was taken to placement of the building while not disturbing the surrounding flora. There is a small parking area, uncovered, discretely set behind some thicker shrubberies and bushes, which the road directly goes to and promptly ends. From there, a walkway takes arrivals up to the front doors of the place, which are thick and wooden, inlaid with intricate carvings that, again, look like they’ve been duplicated from another era.

The doors directly open up into a flat room, decorated in a scarlet tone. The floor, polished, is of a similar colored marble and helps give the dimly lit room it’s scarlet, warm hue. The area itself is completely devoid of furniture. Completely. Instead, in the very center of the room is a small dogwood tree that is of the type that blooms pinkish blooms year-round. Above it is a skylight that has itself illuminated gently during the night time to cast the room’s light down onto the tree itself. The only other décor comes from translucent silken curtains hanging loosely behind five very distinct statues. Each of the statues itself is of a very striking woman, and upon closer inspection, it’s almost as if the woman is the same model in each of the statues.

Close inspection of the marble walls will find that there are small, thin long hollow pieces of either glass or acrylic that trace along the natural veins of some of the marble and go from ceiling to floor, they seem to serve no purpose and do not necessarily add any sheen to the room’s décor itself. It was almost like they were made to be discrete and not take away from the natural beauty and warmth of the open meeting area.

Finally, there are two adjoining rooms, but they also have no furniture in them, instead only have one small plant nestled into the corner and have doors that close securely behind.
