• When Anthony Anderson leaves, so does Talbit, using the older and more important Kindred as a shield to block attentions on his own departure. He cites the racial undertones of the covenant for his departure, even though he hadn't even reached Manumission in 10 years. Nobody but Hakan cares that he leaves and the majority of the Invictus are, in fact, pleased that "the lazy paige" was gone.
