Suspire.org is the name given to both the website and the IRC server managed by The Suspire.org Storyteller Staff. Both the Suspire.org website and IRC server are for use by the storytellers, players, and potential players in the Suspire.org chronicle.

This policy applies to any storyteller, player, or potential player on Suspire.org. It is the responsibility of each user to familiarize themselves with this policy, and to ensure that their conduct on Suspire.org remains within the boundaries of Acceptable Use outlined herein.

Suspire.org is maintained primarily to serve as a place for users to gather and participate in online World of Darkness chronicles, which are created by The Storyteller Staff of Suspire.org. It also serves as an online community for users that participate in said chronicle when they are “out of character.” Suspire.org is not for use by the general public – it is only for storytellers, players, and potential players.

A user may use Suspire.org to participate in the free online World of Darkness chronicle created by The Storyteller Staff of Suspire.org, or to participate in the online “out of character” community that exists for the benefit of Suspire.org players.

Suspire.org is not to be used for the transmission of material that infringes on the copyright of another, the transmission of unsolicited commercial or advertising material to others, deliberate unauthorized access to other internet sites, deliberate activities that waste Storyteller Staff or Suspire.org network resources, corrupting other users’ data, violating the privacy of others, disrupting the work of others, interfering with the ability of others to access Suspire.org, the transmission of “viruses,” or any other use that harms with the Suspire.org community or uses Suspire.org as a platform from which to harm others.

It is the responsibility of each user to understand and comply with these terms of Acceptable Use. Failure to do so may result in denial of Suspire.org’s services. Where violations of these conditions is illegal or unlawful, or results in loss or damages to Suspire.org or other third parties, the matter may be referred for legal action. It is preferable for misuse to be prevented by the responsible attitudes of Suspire.org users and disciplinary action handed down by The Storyteller Staff of Suspire.org.
