September 16th, 2013Hey guys and girls,
I thought about how to address this letter for a couple nights, trying to decide how best to word it or bring it across. Suspire's been off and on (some of us more on than off) in our lives for a long time, and before Suspire there was Diablerie as well. We've made friends, lost friends, found husbands, wives, girlfriends and boyfriends on our game over the years. That's saying a lot for a table top game that managed to find it's way online!
As you've probably guessed by now, we're going to shut off Suspire. We've discussed keeping the server running off and on for the past couple of years, and always decided to give it that "one more shot". But, I think at this point in our lives - myself and Tabby's that is - we're not really willing to dedicate the time and energy that it requires to be a pair of "good" Storytellers for everyone. In short, I guess you can say we've moved on and probably have for awhile, but it's sometimes something you're not really willing to let go of. We're going to be getting married and do travel, all the things we've talked about over the years but never had the money and careers to do. And honestly, that leaves Suspire gaming in the cold.
I'd like to say that I'd always be in touch, but we all know the way of the Internet and those we've met on the Internet. That said, firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com are both ways that you could always drop a line to and say hello. If you'd like anything from the game wiki, feel free to send me an email and I'll pull it off of the server for you.
I hope that you all have extraordinary lives and fulfill everything you want to do in the short time we've been given.
